Cancellation Policy
Before the course starts:

Students are required to submit registration and payment before the start date of their chosen course.

AFOA will provide a full refund for cancellations received in writing at least 5 business days prior to the start date of any AFOA Online course offering.

If less than 5 days notice is provided, AFOA will provide you with a non-refundable credit for your payment which must be applied to another AFOA Online course within one year of the original course start date.
Withdrawal Options
Once the course starts:
For students who feel that they are unable to complete the course during a session, a withdraw form must be filled out and submitted to AFOA Canada. If the Withdrawal form is submitted before the 7th week of the course, the student will be eligible for a refund minus a $250 administration fee. The student will receive a VW (Voluntary Withdrawal) on their AFOA transcript. The student will be required to pay the full amount of the course upon re-enrolment and must take the entire course from the beginning.
For students who withdraw from the course after the 7th week, a withdrawal form is also required. No refund will be given. The student will receive a W (withdrawal) on their AFOA transcript. The student will be required to pay the full amount of the course upon re-enrolment and must take the entire course from the beginning.
Completion of the course

Students are responsible for submitting their assignments on or before the assigned due date.

It is the responsibility of each student to seek advice/help from the course administrator and/or instructor/coach.

Enrollment in any AFOA Online course session may be limited to ensure ample opportunity for full participation of all students.

Upon completion of the course, students will be notified in writing of their final grade.

Final grades are recorded in the AFOA Canada database as a pass/fail and final percentage achieved.

Final grades less than the acceptable passing percentage (65%) will be recorded as a fail, and students must complete the course again.
Final Grade: Incomplete
Students who do not complete the requirements for a passing final grade (65% or higher) in a course will be required to pay 80% of the total course fee if they re-register for the same course.
